Handmade​ ​oval​ ​fish​ ​platter​ ​with​ ​two​ ​hand​ ​formed​ ​fish​ ​handles:​ ​a​ ​head​ ​and​ ​a​ ​tail.​ ​The​ ​trout​ ​is​ ​painted​ ​onto​ ​the​ ​glaze​ ​prior​ ​to​ ​firing​ ​using​ ​oxides​ ​which​ ​fuse​ ​into​ ​the​ ​glaze.​ ​​ ​Medium​ ​size​ ​platter,​ ​perfect​ ​for​ ​serving​ ​dinner!

All​ ​pieces​ ​are​ ​made​ ​from​ ​start​ ​to​ ​finish​ ​by​ ​hand​ ​in​ ​our​ ​home​ ​studio.​ ​We​ ​start​ ​with​ ​a​ ​high​ ​fire​ ​clay​ ​and​ ​use​ ​our​ ​own​ ​glazes​ ​that​ ​we​ ​mix​ ​according​ ​to​ ​recipes​ ​that​ ​we​ ​have​ ​developed​ ​over​ ​the​ ​last​ ​40​ ​years.​ ​Using​ ​a​ ​gas​ ​reduction​ ​kiln,​ ​we​ ​fire​ ​all​ ​our​ ​pieces​ ​to​ ​Cone​ ​10.​ ​Glazes​ ​and​ ​clay​ ​are​ ​lead-free​ ​and​ ​completely​ ​safe​ ​to​ ​use​ ​with​ ​the​ ​dishwasher​ ​and​ ​microwave,​ ​as​ ​well​ ​as​ ​with​ ​all​ ​foods.
